From great cathedrals to Roman ruins to beautiful Islamic architecture, Spain has its share of history that has left its mark across this beautiful country. From Salvador Dalí to Pablo Picasso to Antoni Gaudí, Spaniards themselves have left a mark on the world with their creativity. It’s not all work either. Spaniards invented and religiously celebrate Fiestas and Siestas as part of their lives. And bring in the Flamenco dancer to this mix, you have Spain at its heart!
Arrive at Madrid airport. Enjoy Madrid on hop on- hop off bus. Highlights being: Gran Vía, Plaza de España, Habsburg old quarter, Puerta del Sol, Puerta de Alcalá, Paseo de la castellana and the Real Madrid Stadium, and Santiago Bernabéu. Stay overnight at Madrid.
Today is about Toledo, a city blessed with a number of greatest monuments. Known as the “city of the three cultures”, this city has monuments from Christians, Arabs, and Jews who have lived here together for centuries. To this day, Toledo preserves the artistic and cultural legacy in the form of churches, palaces, fortresses, mosques, and synagogues.
Today take the train to Sevilla. Check in at hotel, and relax for the rest of the day.
After breakfast, start the Sevilla sightseeing tour on the hop on hop off bus. Since Sevilla is the political capital of Andalucía, it has various government buildings and parliament of this autonomous region. Continue further to see Plaza de España and adjoining Maria Luisa Park, which are among the most pleasant and impressive public spaces in Spain. Then stop over at the Gothic Cathedral, which is the burial site of Christopher Columbus.
It's said that Sevilla was founded by Hercules.
Today we travel to Córdoba via Antequera. Start with the panoramic tour of the Roman Bridge, then continue to the Jewish quarter, the synagogue and the mosque (famous monument in the Islamic west, built on an ancient mosque and the materials of the Christian basilica of San Vicente).
Once you are done with the tour, you can watch a flamenco show at the Museo de Flamenca, and also take a private flamenco lesson. It's a skill worth having!
Take the train to Malaga train station and check in to the hotel at Marbella. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Take the bus from Malaga bus station to Granada. Enjoy the half day Alhambra city tour. Granada is situated at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It was once the capital of the Moorish Kingdom, a reign which lasted almost 800 years. this has left Granada with the most important Moorish legacy in Spain; the Alhambra Palace, one of the most brilliant jewels of universal architecture. Stroll through the narrow streets of the Albayzín, and the tumbling white-walled house gardens of the Realejo quarter. There is something about Granada that's mysterious yet satisfying.
Today fly to the Barcelona airport from Granada. Check in, and relax for the day.
Called the Great Enchantress, its' easy to see why. Check out this beautiful city on the hop on- hop off bus to cover it all. Start with the the gothic quarter which is the centre of the old city of Barcelona. Then carry on to see the works of Antoni Gaudi throughout the city, the Sagrada Familia cathedral, Casa Batlló, Casa Mila and Park Güell.
From Barcelona, check out Montserrat, an imposing rocky outcrop that is the holy mountain of Catalonia, which houses the revered image of the black virgin.
It's time to fly out of Barcelona airport. Back home!
