Morocco is a very colorful country. While the deserts throw shades of bold reds, orange, mulberry, the man-made splendors like the Majorelle Garden, the Riads come up with shades of ochre, blue, green and bright yellow. If you thought they have already covered the colors in their houses the Medina and the Souks are a whole new story! They have every color imaginable! This wonderful, colorful, happy and energetic country has some fantastic landscapes in the Atlas Mountains. It’s an exploration that will do your soul good! Ready to take a journey into the mountains?

Arrive at Marrakech Menara airport and check in to your hotel with assistance from our staff.

Ouzoud Waterfalls - Bin El Ouidane Dam

Start the Atlas Mountain Expedition with the Ouzoud waterfalls, an impressive waterfalls with a total 100 meters fall.
After a quick lunch, drive on to the the famous lake of Bin El Ouidane. The drive will take you through magnificent mountain roads surrounded by holm oaks going along the oueds (rivers).

Kelaa Mgouna - Boumalne Dades

Post breakfast, cross the Middle Atlas to reach the beautiful small town of Kelâa MGouna, an oasis in the Dades valley known as the “the Valley of the Roses” for its yearly festival of Roses in May. Continue to Boumalne Dades - the Dades canyons, an impressive canyon with rock formations going upto 250m.

Tinghir- Tinjdad - Erfoud

Today, leave for Tinghir and its magnificent Todra canyons. Drive on to Erfoud via Tinjdad. Erfoud is the administrative capital for the region located between the Middle Atlas Mountains to the north and the Sahara desert to the south. On the way, visit Rissani, the birthplace of the actual Alaouite Dynasty.
It's here that you can also experience the Sahara Desert in all it's glory! And truly get the "sleeping under the stars" experience.
Take an excursion by 4x4 cars to experience a dinner and night under Bedouin tent at a camp site “Bivouac” at the foot of the Merzouga sandy dunes.
The Merzouga Dunes are an impressive, drifting chain of sand dunes that can reach 160m and seem to have escaped from the much larger dune field across the nearby border in Algeria. The Erg Dunes are a magical landscape and offer a scene of constant change as sunlight transforms them from pink to gold to red.  It's a sight that will leave your speechless.

Tazzarine - Nkob - Zagora

After the night of sleeping under the stars, it's time to leave for Zagora via Alnif and Tazzarine, crossing the Djebel Sargho. Stop at Tamegroute and the famous library containing old books and documents dating back to the 12th century.

Zagora - Marrakech

Drive to Marrakech via Ouarzazate, the "gateway of the desert" with its strategic position at the crossroads of Marrakech and Agadir. Stop at Kabshah Taourirt for visit before continuing to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou located on the south foot of the Atlas mountain chain. Founded in the XI° century, this famous UNESCO World Heritage kasbah that has served as decor for many great movies. Reach Marrakech.

Marrakech

Today is the day you spend in magical, high energy Marrakech, the second oldest Imperial city, also called "the pearl of the south." Start with the Menara Garden, then move on to the Saadien Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia and the Dar Si Said Museum. Stop for a short lunch. Start the treasure hunt in the afternoon in the souks and handicraft quarters. A must do exploration is at the Jamaa El Fna. It means ‘the mosque at the end of the world’, as glorious as the mosque is, the real treat awaits at the famous square in front of the mosque. The energy you find in this place is like nowhere else in the world. Magicians, dancers, story tellers, snake charmers, food stalls, the Henna artists, the tea stalls, the musicians the drummers. Everyday, everything changes- the sight, sounds, smells and tastes. It will be a memory you hold for life! Close the day at the famous Djemaa El Fna or Chez Ali with its non stop entertainment showcasing the various skills and entertainment of 7 regions of Morocco.

Good bye to Marrakech

After Marrakech, living or visiting any other place will seem almost mundane, slow paced. But it's time to head back home.
