A glimpse of Kilimanjaro and a full day of beauty await you today. The park lies on the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, Being the highest peak in Africa, it's snow capped peak will dominate the background as you explore the park's wildlife and scenery. There are plenty of underground streams from Kilimanjaro surface in the centre of Amboseli creating swamps that attract and support a rich diversity of wild animals and birds.
Close the day by checking in to the hotel, relaxing for the day.
Today we drive to the iconic Noah's Ark in Africa - the Ark Lodge which is in Aberdares National Park. But enroute to the Lodge we have a full day of safari ahead of us. The park itself is a beautiful mountain range in the central highlands of Kenya, being a highland Forest Park it boasts of montane vegetation, scenic views, game and waterfalls. Wildlife found here includes buffaloes, elephants, leopards, lions, baboons and several species of monkeys. Not to mention the hundreds of bird species including crowned cranes, hawks, eagles, giant kingfishers, sunbirds, vultures and plovers.
Close the day at the Lodge with an overnight stay.
Today we head to the Laikipia region. After arrival in Nanyuki, check in and lunch at the hotel. It's a day of relaxation as you enjoy the beautiful views of the montane countryside at the foothills of the second highest summit in Africa, Mount Kenya.
It's the day you cross Equator. Ofcourse on the way we drive to the famous Rift Valley and have a stop at the Thomson falls.
Once you arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park, check in and relax to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Post lunch we head out for an afternoon game drive in the park and around the saline lake. A famous hangout for animals.
Magic of Mara awaits you today! Drive via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
When we hear about African Adventure, this is a name that is sure to pop up.
Wonderful scenery, fabulous Wild life - the Big Five included. Masai Mara is this famous and blessed with an abundance of wildlife due to it's permanent supply of water, which as we know in African heat is the one thing animals need.
And thanks to the conservation efforts of the Masai tribes, the wildlife is still the same as it was centuries ago. With our packed lunches, and snacks, going back to a man made lodge will be lowest on your priorities, staying in the nature with the animals is the best place to be at the Mara!
Masai Mara is not a place you "finish" in a day. With game drives at various times, it's a visit that you will not be able to get enough of.
After breakfast, check out and time to fly back to back to Nairobi. After a day spent in the city, its time to leave Africa to fly back home!
